Baptism, Reaffirmation and Dedication Information
Upper Room baptizes and dedicates infants and we offer baptism or reaffirmation of baptism for elementary aged children through adults.

INFANT BAPTISM or DEDICATION
Infant baptisms/dedications are held several times throughout the year both at church with other families or at the individual’s private home. Upper Room believes that baptism/dedications are most fully experienced in the context of the community in which the family is connected into so that we can mutually support one another in our journeys.
We ask that families attend a one hour infant baptism and dedication seminar on a Sunday afternoon during which we share our beliefs about baptism and dedication and get to know you a little bit better. Our infant baptisms are held on Saturday mornings at our St Louis Park worship location.

BELIEVER BAPTISM and REAFFIRMATION (Elementary-aged through Adult)
Upper Room celebrates a baptism and reaffirmation experience during our Gatherings for community members twice each year; once during the summer and once in the winter. People who desire to be baptized or reaffirm their baptism vows are required to attend a baptism and reaffirmation seminar as part of their decision making process. We also ask people to meet with a pastor and to share their baptism or reaffirmation story through video.
Next Baptism and Reaffirmation date is Sunday, August 21 at Lake Calhoun. In order to be baptized or to reaffirm your baptism vows, you must attend our Baptism & Reaffirmation seminar and/or meet with a UR pastor.
