We desire to be a community of people who give generously as a response to the lavish grace and generosity of God in our own lives. And as we give, our finances can be used to fuel this movement of people loving God and others in the rhythm of Jesus, resulting in transformed lives...the lives of those who give, the lives of others in our community, and the lives of people in our neighborhood, our city and around the world.

3 Steps to Filling Out a Commitment Card
1) Understanding Your Impact
Our goal is to be fiscally responsible and to set an annual budget that reflects our community’s willingness to financially fuel the mission of the Upper Room. Your Commitment Card is crucial in creating an accurate and responsible monthly budget. Our Resource Team will add your personal commitment to the collective commitments of the rest of our community in order to recommend an operating budget to the Upper Room Board for the coming budget year.
2) Praying About Your Commitment
It is important to us that you carefully consider and pray about your financial commitment. Our hope is for generous and responsible financial commitments that can be used to fuel our mission and transform the lives of many. Please take the time to invite God into this process as you decide what you will commit to give on a monthly basis.
3) Making Your Commitment
When you decide the level of financial generosity you are able to commit to, you are ready to fill out a commitment card. There are 3 ways to submit a commitment card:

- Fill out the form on the brochure and drop into an offering bag at a Sunday night gathering.
Important Details...
Length of Commitment: The financial commitment you indicate on your commitment card will run through May 31, 2011, at which time you may recommit for the next fiscal year.
Automatic Giving: Please consider automatic giving by bank account or credit card. This method provides us with the most consistent pattern of income which allows us to budget and spend responsibly.
