This past summer we hosted a series of three events with the hope of raising awareness and support for three important causes: youth experiencing homelessness, racial inequity in Minneapolis, and child advocacy in the midst of our immigration system.
Thanks to those of you who joined us in taking a stand on behalf of those who are experiencing injustice. While running, biking, and walking - collectively we covered over 611 miles! (That is about the distance to Indianapolis!) And we raised $4000 to support Avenues for Youth, Venture North, and the Young Center for Immigrant Children’s Rights.
If you missed these events this summer and would still like to learn more, please check out the UR on the Move guides available below. We know our events this summer were just one small place to start and these guides offer simple ways to continue in the pursuit of loving God and loving our neighbor.
