Lectionary: Reading the Bible with Questions
Did you know churches from many different denominations and all over the world are reading and preaching from the same exact Scriptures each Sunday? Join us as we connect to the larger church, exploring some passages we might not normally consider. Pastor of Genesis Covenant church and friend to Upper Room, Steve Wiens, will be leading us through 4 weeks from the Revised Common Lectionary - a three-year cycle of Scripture readings created for worshipping communities to proclaim and celebrate the story of God. Join us as we ask some important questions and learn to interrogate the Scriptures versus seeing it as one-way communication.
