IJM Freedom Sunday
With more than 40 million slaves in the world today, the scope of slavery is immense. There are actually more slaves in the world today than in any other time in human history. For IJM’s Freedom Sunday we joined with churches from all around the globe learning what it looks like to to “seek justice and defend the oppressed” in our world. JJ Gomez, the IJM Field Office Director from the Dominican Republic shared with us that evening.
